The honest read
Which one fits how you work
01
When Eklipse is the better pick.
You are the streamer, you want game-aware highlights of your own VOD, and you want captions, vertical reframing and posting in one place without opening another app.
02
When Parasocials is.
You clip other people's streams, you want the clip while the moment is still hot, and you would rather download the raw cut for $5 than pay $39.99 for live.
Common questions
FAQ
Does Eklipse clip live streams?
On its Premium Pro plan, $39.99 a month, Eklipse lists Live Clipping, clips made while you are still live. Its free and Premium plans describe clipping from your VODs after the stream. Parasocials clips live on every plan, including Free.
Can I clip a streamer who is not me?
Eklipse's pricing page describes connecting your own Twitch, YouTube, Kick or Facebook channels. Parasocials watches any public Twitch, Kick or TikTok Live streamer, no connection and no login from them.
How long do clips stay?
Eklipse stores clips for 14 days on monthly plans and 90 days on annual plans. Parasocials keeps them 3 days on Free, 7 on Clipper and 14 on Creator, and anything you download or put in a folder is yours to keep.
Do I still need an editor?
Eklipse edits and posts inside the tool. Parasocials is download-first: you get the raw clip the moment it happens and finish it in CapCut or whatever you already use.
Where did these numbers come from?
From Eklipse's public pricing page, read in October 2026. Prices and plan features change, so check their page before you decide. Eklipse is a trademark of its owner and is not affiliated with Parasocials.
